The IAP Mobile Competition—co-sponsored by the MIT Media Lab, Bank of America, Intuit, and Qualcomm—was a big success, with students creating some great mobile and supporting Web applications for the Apple iPhone or Android related to financial and non-financial transactions. Winners from the three categories each won a free iPhone and one year of iPhone service:
