Tanya Giovacchini is the Executive Director at the Center for Future Banking at the MIT Media Lab. Tanya is responsible for managing operations and the relationship between the Media Lab and the Bank of America.
Previously, Tanya was a COO for Monitor Networks, a new consulting firm venture that created a business and science expert talent agency and a human network development business. She was responsible for developing the business plan and strategy and developing and managing the operations and infrastructure. Tanya helped create and deliver new services that helped companies access human networks and outside expert thinking to improve their business innovation.
Prior to her work with Monitor, Tanya was a Vice President of Marketing for Cetacean Networks, a next generation networking products company. She built and managed the marketing team and helped lead the company from an engineering-driven technology focus without customers, to a product/market-driven business focus with large government and commercial customers.
Earlier in her career, Tanya was a Vice President at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) serving clients in the Communications and Computing and Financial Services industries. She specialized in solving marketing and strategy problems. She began her career as a senior associate at Accenture.
Tanya currently also belongs to a network of Marketing Executives, Mavens and Moguls, that provide marketing strategy and insights to businesses.
Tanya has a BS in Business from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
